Frankie Farrell Managing Director

Frankie is continuously involved throughout the construction industry for over 25 years. Dublin born, Crumlin native, third generation family builders proudly delivering alterations extensions and bespoke projects in the residential sector. Proudly boasting the Farrell name in delivering quality workmanship in partnership with every client. We continue to strive on our morals & ethics on every level to achieve nothing less than excellence.

Niall Caffrey Project Manager

Niall Caffrey, Senior Project Manager, an electrician by trade, who had previously worked as the main Project Manager on medium to large scale civil projects in Ireland, UK and abroad working on projects such as Poolbeg Power Station Decommission, National Children’s Hospital, SJH Hospital and Regeneron Pharmaceutical.

Niall joined the 1st Choice team three years ago, he brings with him his vast experience as a contracts/construction manager from managing a wide range of complex electrical and construction projects. Niall manages, oversees and implements a high standard on all of our projects.

Jason Walsh Director of Engineering

Jason is currently responsible for a series of projects in Ireland specialising in residential, commercial and industrial sectors. He has extensive experience dealing with local authorities with planning applications and dealing with disability access grant applications.

Jason has over 20 years experience in Architectural and Engineering disciplines and is responsible for all the 1st Choice Builders design and making sure all projects meet current building regulations. Jason has also extensive experience with helping your client through their banking loan applications and drawdowns.

Jason is a key member of the 1st choice builders management team for over 20 years.

John Assad Quantity Surveyor

South African born with over 20 years Pre-Degree in construction serving Commercial, Shopping Centres, Hospital, clinic’s and Luxury Residential Projects. Emigrating to Ireland in 2002 working on large scale projects and housing schemes. With returning back to education and achieving a degree in Quantity Surveying from DIT Bolton Street.

Post degree working on schools, commercial, fit-outs to focusing on residential projects. After recently joining 1st Choice Builders to become a valuable member of the team, in combining our knowledge and delivering contracts from concept to handover, and delivering our projects on budget and giving our clients a remodeled house to boast off.

Stephen Grant Procurement Manager

Stephen is from South Dublin from the Templeogue area and was educated in Terenure College.

He joined the team last March, during the current Pandemic so has literally hit the ground running.

Coming from a Family Business background with 25 years experience in dealing with all aspects of procurement as well as sales and dealing with clients on a one to one basis.

He brings his enthusiasm, experience and drive to this great company and is determined to bring costs down at the same time as offering our clients a more cost effective and quality product.

Izabela & Siobhan Accounts Team

Our Accounts-Office team are dedicated to ensure our clients receive regular accurate information of their projects at all times.

Izabela and Siobhan both manage accounts payable and accounts receivable reporting to Naomi. Izabela is also Frankie’s personal assistant. With various expertise between them they have all construction processes covered.
